Self-examination - both its necessity and its limits, as well as the intersection between the personal and the public, are the thematic foundations to Tan’s work.” –Moviemaker. Tan Pin Pin’s award-winning films include Moving House (2001), Singapore GaGa (2005), Invisible City (2007) and To Singapore, with Love (2013). The latter, about Singapore political exiles is banned from public screenings. Her films have earned awards and acclaim in festivals internationally. She has an MFA from Northwestern University. She is a board member of Singapore International Film Festival and is a founding member of filmcommunitysg, an independent film advocacy group. www.tanpinpin.com ... Read More
