Each new generation of youth face challenges unique to their time. In recent years, there is the growing recognition that the youth today are encountering unexpected challenges such as the threat to globalization (which they have grown up with), increased debt, rising house prices and greater job insecurity. At the same time, technology and globalization are offering innovative ways for them to be heard. This talk explores ways for youth to carve a space for themselves to navigate in this new world.

    Faith Pang

    Ms Faith Pang currently holds the position of Strategy & Coordination Officer at AMRO. Her responsibilities include strategy and policy planning, internal coordination, stakeholder engagement and, institutional relations and strategic partnerships.
    Before joining AMRO, Ms Pang worked in the Ministry of Finance (International Relations Department) from 2011-2014. While in the Ministry of Finance, Ms Pang travelled extensively in the ASEAN+3 region to promote greater regional financial cooperation, and was also responsible for managing Singapore’s bilateral relations with its Northeast and Southeast Asian neighbours.
    Ms Pang studied in the University of Toronto where she obtained her Bachelor degree in International Relations (Honours with Distinction), with the help of a Shaw Foundation scholarship (2005-2009), and a Master degree in Political Science and Asia-Pacific Studies.
